If you like Italian cuisine, then you need to make a trip here!
Caffe’ Positano features big-city authentic Italian food in a family-oriented atmosphere.
NOTHING is prepackaged or precooked here, it is all fresh and made to order.
In fact, many of the pasta ingredients are shipped directly from Italy.
And who doesn’t love extra virgin olive oil?
Some of our favorites include:
- Baked Manicotti (yum)
- Penne Domenico
- Penne Cardinale
- Any Pizza
Prices are affordable and service is great. This place is hard to beat.
The Back Room Steakhouse
What an ultra-cool place to get a great meal.
The Back Room Steakhouse is a hidden gem located right next to a Beef O’Brady’s sports bar in Apopka.
This steakhouse is famous for its aged, Black Angus steaks including New York Strips, Rib Eyes, Porterhouse and more.
The restaurant also features seafood and pasta dishes that are all excellent.
And of course, there is a full bar.
Everything is tasty here but a few of the standouts in our eyes include:
- 16 oz. Ribeye
- Crab & Brie Cheese Flat Bread (appetizer)
- The BOSS Burger (you better be hungry!)
This is an excellent place to go for a hearty meal and aged steak. Highly recommended!
Porkie’s Original BBQ
What would a best restaurant list be without a BBQ place?
Porkie’s rivals BBQ eateries all over the country that we have tried and for that we are very thankful.
They are most famous for their slow-cooked ribs, prepared with oak and hickory wood resulting in a delicious smokey taste that can’t be beaten.
Porkie’s provides a family-friendly atmosphere that makes eating here fun.
Our favorites here include:
- Fried Okra (appetizer)
- Pulled Pork Sandwich (best in Florida)
- Baby Back Dinner
This is the kind of place that you can visit without worrying about taking off your hat, but still get fantastic yet inexpensive food.
Ray’s Fish and Chips
Another low-price, high-quality restaurant is the one and only Ray’s Fish and Chips.
Ray’s has been around for a long time and have been serving New England style seafood the entire time to thousands of happy customers.
The food is fresh including fresh catch from the nearby Atlantic Ocean.
Of course, Ray’s Fish and Chips is best known for its….fish and chips!
But they have more, much more.
They feature live Maine lobsters, fresh cod, lobster rolls, shrimp and plenty of seafood favorites.
Some of our picks include:
- Crab Cakes
- Florida Black Grouper
- Fried Shrimp (of course!)
- Fish and Chips (Duh)
Eat here once and you will return…I guarantee it.
You simply can’t have a list without at least one Mexican establishment.
El Potro has been around since 1985 and the food quality has never wavered during this time.
Their cuisine is authentic, fresh, and high quality.
One of their biggest attractions is the fabulous buffet lunch that is served everyday but Saturday.
El Potro is family owned and features great service and ambiance.
Some of our favorite choices from their menu include:
- Acapulco Salad
- Steak Fajita Nachos
- Bistec Ranchero
- Tacos (sounds cliché’ but they are delicious!)
